I'd be uncomfortable doing business with someone if a quick Google search indicated that they'd been accused of fraud.  What kind of accusation couldn't potentially have similar repercussions? Perhaps. Alternatively, perhaps not. Note the 'copycat' nature of the allegations in this awful story here: http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/20...e-her.html The same principle - presumption of innocence must always apply, but trial by media ensures it effectively does not - is discussed here too: http://observer.com/2015/12/premature-ru...-in-court/

Why does it have to be a case of either full disclosure and media circus or total anonymity because mud sticks with certain things. Surely you realise that the reason it sticks above other similar crimes is because it's in the papers; your solution is to say it can't go in the papers. So they make murder allegations more lurid and that becomes something worthy of anonymity in turn. Then fraud, because you can't talk about rape or murder. Nah, yours isn't a solution, it's just passing the buck. And the same thing happens as when you ban or criminalise a vice, it's driven underground and can't be controlled whatsoever.

Because we wouldn't be able to name murder, rape or paedophilia suspects until they'd been convicted, murder, rape and paedophilia would be driven underground? Eh? Are any of them overground right now? Total anonymity because mud sticks and because of human nature is infinitely preferable to full disclosure and media circus. Why? Because the latter guarantees that complete innocents will be caught in the middle and have their lives destroyed. The idea that this is OK in the cause of some greater good is frankly Stalinist.

I suspect that he was saying that the act of naming the accused would be driven underground.

That and it just moves the media ire on to something else. Mags and Shaun seem really annoyed at media coverage rather than the accused's name being public. Why not alter the thing they're annoyed with.

Yeh, that's a sure fire way to get yourself shot, to be fair.

What did he hope to achieve with a fake belt? Bizarre.
Would be a fitting end for one of those youtube pranksters, tbf.

I'm guessing the fact it's a fake belt and he was outside a police station attacking police men that it's a clear case of "suicide by cop".

The guy on the left has to be the least threatening man pointing a gun in history.
