It's a hard one, as the fact she's a woman is probably all that's stopping him from lamping her, whereas if a guy steps in he might explode with rage.
Watching that though I do think I'd have told him to shut the fuck up and also made sure more people were between her and him.

TBF one guy does step in.
Not sure what I'd do in that situation tbh. When the guy has lost his mind he could easily do something very stupid if you start wading in. Thought the guy with the white shirt played it quite well stepping in front of him and telling him to calm down. Different if it is someone you know getting berated like that. But she has short hair and looks a bit Guardian so may well have been offended if you had stepped in to protect her. It is a minefield we live in now.

I know, I agree with all of those points and although I have said something to people who are out of order on trains etc in the past I'd probably be the exact same, it's just fairly concerning watching something like that knowing that basically no one will say a word

Such a bizarre reaction. Walter - Apparently the PUK were unhappy with the referendum as they saw it as a power move just after Mosul. They probably couldn't have repelled the attack and didn't think it was worth dying for.

Pretty poor levels of shitebaggery from most. It's quite entertaining to watch but the boy filming it riled me a bit. Fair play to the guy though, he got a seat at the end for his troubles

They both come across as weirdos and I'd have probably just stood and laughed as well
I don't think the guy was ever going to use physical violence and the women just seemed a bit weird.

I don't want to over-dramatise it, but I would hypothesise that we shall have to start rewriting the history of mankind after today," he said.
Science reporting should only feature input from credible scientists. Politicians especially should be ignored. He might as well have said he felt the hand of history on his shoulder. He may of course be correct, but we're probably decades away from knowing that to be the case. As the scientist said, it's currently a mystery. |
