TBF one guy does step in.

Not sure what I'd do in that situation tbh. When the guy has lost his mind he could easily do something very stupid if you start wading in. Thought the guy with the white shirt played it quite well stepping in front of him and telling him to calm down.

Different if it is someone you know getting berated like that. But she has short hair and looks a bit Guardian so may well have been offended if you had stepped in to protect her. It is a minefield we live in now.

Pretty much where you're at with this, there comes a point someone just needs to either tell him to wind his neck in or just shuffle the woman up the carriage. Pretty poor levels of shitebaggery from most. It's quite entertaining to watch but the boy filming it riled me a bit.
