Thought we needed a separate work moans thread. After all, the end of the weekend only comes once a week, but the miserable soul-crushing drudgery of work is a 24/7 thing.

In Jedburgh this morning. Planned to finish here ASAP and get back to Edinburgh to help out because we're going to be really busy today. Turn up only to be told that the interpreter for my case has gone to Selkirk by mistake, and is having to get a bus here.

My day is going to consist of 6.5 hours of conference calls in which I will at most talk for 25-30 minutes.

Every Monday is like this, only positive for this week is I'm not going to spend 3 days in Uddingston like last week

Sure, i'm quite a fan of irreverence and meandering chat. It just struck me as particularly cruel to mak that the, quite literally, one sweet spot in his life, ice-cream and threads thereof, was being cruelly tantalized before him.
