No need for all those wires in his medical. Anyone can tell he's an unfit cunt just by looking at him.

Those wires aren't monitor his performance, they're there to jolt him back into life when he has a heart attack after a minute on the treadmill.

FC Midtjylland won the Danish Superliga last season, and the way they went about it was different:

They play APOEL in the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League tomorrow night.

Interesting. Not convinced the Money-ball stuff works with Football but that's showing they are getting some success.

Just catching up on this thread. Zeefuik's hearts shorts. Brilliant. Makes the inner jammy wearer so proud.

Absolutely hate this sort of pretentious arsehole football journalism. What makes it worse is that the underlying point is a sound one.

Didn't read it all, but shamelessly namedropping Benedict Anderson and Craig Calhoun in an article about football Warnock

It is a bit infuriating that he makes a fairly valid point, but as far as I can tell the main point of the article is to prove how much better read he is than your average football fan.

Jonathan Wilson comparing football tactics to Marxism is the worst thing I've ever seen.

What annoys me most about these cunts is that almost without fail they've attended their first ever game in about 2007 whilst in their mid twenties.

Anyone else get tickets for the euros? Got tickets for three matches but not feeling overly bothered, though I'm sure I'll be loving it next year. One of them is France, in Marseille, 9pm KO, so it should be a great atmosphere and day out.
