This is a tough one for me. I've got no issues with breastfeeding but there's something just not quite right about doing it in public. If it makes people uncomfortable and there's a more discreet way to do it, then why not do that? "It's the most natural thing in the world!" yeah, I know, and so is taking a shit, but I'd rather do that in private thanks, and I'm sure the general public appreciate me not shitting in the middle of a supermarket.
Breastfeeding older kids is a totally different kettle of fish and I think there's something seriously wrong with people who encourage their children to do that. It gets to a point where it's not about the kid anymore and it's more a statement. I don't believe in using children as a statement.
